FALL STAPLES TO BUY NOW

Fall, Fashion, Outfits / Monday, August 21st, 2017

Hi guys! Today I decided to round up all of my fall staples that you need to buy now. These are the pieces that you will wear day after day all autumn long. It is easy to create a cute fall outfit with them, so try to stick with the basics.

When I choose my closet staples, I try to look for quality and a versatile color. I think all of the above meet that criteria and I own all of it besides the jean jacket and the gorgeous Rebecca Mincoff cross body. That is on my list to get this fall, but I did buy a cute suede jacket that I will be sharing later on.

1. Outerwear

This may sound a little weird, but when I buy my outerwear I always, always look for reputable brands. The jean jacket above is from Madewell, and while it is an investment piece it is so worth the money. You will wear it year after year, and such a staple that won’t got out of style anytime soon. I think this jacket is the perfect wash and I cannot wait to get my hands on it.

2. Cardigan

I love cardigans, seriously half of my fall wardrobe consists of just cardigans. My favorite are BP Cardigans, especially the ones I got from the NSALE. However, they all sold out so I am linking a few similar ones that I would be buying. The one pictured above is here, I also like this one. After all, a girl can’t have too many cardigans.

3. Basic Tee

A basic white tee goes a long way. It’s easy to throw on underneath a jean jacket, a cardigan or on it’s own. Seriously, everyone need to have one or I am questioning your life choices. Kidding, but you need to get one if you don’t have it yet. The one linked above is good, but you can go to like Nordstrom Rack or even marshals to get a cheaper tee. You don’t have to spend a ton of money on it. It just has to be quality aka not see through.

4. Comfortable Flats

I don’t know what it is about fall, but I love wearing a pair of cute, and comfortable flats. Tory Burch is one of my favorites, and it’s such a classic. They really are worth the investment, and go with just about everything. I wear mine to work, for travel and sometimes to go shopping. I still didn’t get on the “mules” bandwagon, but if you guys have good suggestions – please comment below.

5. Fall bag

I loooove this Rebecca Mincoff crossbody bag and would buy it in a heart beat if I could. I already own so many brown/cognac bags that I can’t justify to get another one. However, I do like this one and this one as well.

6. Boots

Fall boots or booties is an absolute necessity. I got the Tory Burch riding boots and these booties. I think it’s a great fall closet staple and I really do get a good use out of both. Both are on the pricey side, but like I said at the beginning I look for quality in my staple pieces.

7. Sunglasses

These Karen Walker sunglasses is a must have. I bought an exact dupe from Nodstrom a while ago and they still look pretty good. However, it is on my list to get these black ones. They are so chic, and really elevate any outfit you may have on. If I do get them, I will make sure to get a full post up.

8. Accessories

Fun fall accessories like this leopard scarf are a must. I got mine last year, and this year is the exact copy. So don’t wait too long before they sell out. I like the quality and especially this price point.

After all, I love mixing in high and low fashion. I try to get more quality for my staples or at least a really good dupe, because you I will end up wearing it all the time. Hope you loved it and let me know in the comments below what your favorites are!
