Hi guys! Just wanted to let you know that L.L. Bean is having 20% off sale site wide. You can finally get the Bean boots at a discount. Trust me, this never happens. Get them now while it’s at a discount and while they are still in store. Some stores are selling out fast and if you have to order online then hurry. The longer you wait now the longer it will take for them to ship come November-December. A few friends of mine ordered theirs during Christmas time and had to wait till May to get the boots because they were back ordered. It is a quality shoe, so it does take time to make it. Now is a perfect time to get a pair. If you are getting it for someone else, you can always get it now and make it a Christmas present. Then you are guaranteed to have it:)
I own a pair and pretty much wear them everywhere. Mine are Shearling Lining, which in my opinion is the warmest pair of boots that bean boots have to offer. While they are great for cold winters, I cannot wear them year round. So, I just got the “original” pair under $100(picture above). Can you believe it? It comes without any lining. Bean boots come in so many different shapes and quite a few colors, but they are a classic boot that you need. I owned my “Shearling Lined” ones for two winters already and they are still looking pretty new. Last winter I was here in Boston, so lots of puddles that these boots went through. Some of Bean boots are completely waterproof, which is great if you live in New England or anywhere else where it rains a lot.
L.L.Bean boots run large, so size down if you do not plan to wear them with thick winter socks. For example, if you are a size 7 or 7 1/2 get a size 6. Bean boots also don’t have half sizes.
If you do plan to wear the thick winter socks then get your regular size. For example if you are a 7 or 7 1/2 get a size 7.
Is it really worth it?
Yes. Absolutely. These boots are a classic and you will end up wearing them for years to come. The quality is definitely unbeatable and for the price it is absolutely worth it.
Hope this post helps you! As always please feel free to shoot me an email or comment below if you have any questions.
